the next thing to do is get some J&B weld ,and glue the new chamber in place and while its setting up fire one round to make sure that the chamber throat is clear and tight

I use a drill bit welded on a GI cleaning rod to drill the barrel out so I can put barrel liner in it. that way i can drill up to end and then screw on and extension,then drill some more , then add another extension, tell i get it all the way though the barrel

lines up on mine. Will find out this week it should be in by thursday. 22lr would be a great choice also you wont see many on that large action. will try to get a picture of mine soon.

Everything you are doing is great. I know I don't have the patience to do what you are doing. Hopefully after I get back from visiting my sister I can start on my Sig P-6 refinishing job. This is the type of gun smithing that I know I can do.

now all I have to do is cut the barrel for the extractor and wild a piece of metal on the old extractor and cut it
